Registration is officially open for SAGEEP 2026: Geophysics in the 21st Century, taking place March 15–19, 2026, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

We encourage attendees to register early to take advantage of discounted pricing and secure participation in short courses and special events.

Attention: Government Employees
Government employees may need to use different credit cards for different registration choices, such as conference registration and optional activities (luncheons, conference evening). Government employees can complete the online registration for the conference using one credit card and then use a downloadable/printable registration form to register for other activities using a different card. Contact [email protected] for questions, or complete and submit a printed registration form for all registration choices.

EEGS Acknowledge Federal Government Registration Challenges
EEGS recognizes the fluid situation for federal government employees and remain flexible in accommodating their SAGEEP 2026 registration deadline dates. Accordingly, we will extend the early-bird rates for federal government employees through onsite registration.  To ensure accurate pricing and avoid system limitations, we encourage federal government employees to register using the printable form and submit it once authorization is received from their department leads. Payments can be processed onsite in Pittsburgh.  For any questions or assistance, please contact [email protected].

Payment Information:  Checks from Canadian bank accounts must be drawn on banks with U.S. affiliations (example: checks from Canadian Credit Suisse banks are payable through Credit Suisse New York, USA). If unsure, ask for an alternate form of payment. If, after you submitted your registration, you wish to add activities or events or need to cancel any selections, please visit the onsite SAGEEP Registration desk on the Ballroom Level of the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown hotel beginning on Sunday, March 15.

Short Course Only: Those who are registering for a Short Courses ONLY (no admittance to technical sessions or other events or activities offered at the conference) can complete a print form or complete the form at the Registration Desk in Denver.  If the registrant is a Short Course instructor/presenter and will not attend SAGEEP/MRM or any of its events or activities, please select "Complimentary SC Instructor" registration type on your form at the Registration Desk beginning on Sunday, March 15).

Important Information for Student Registrants: Student registrants receive complimentary tickets to the Student Networking Event on Monday and the Luncheon Event on Tuesday. Students who are being sponsored by their chapter or faculty ,are asked to complete a special form for this purpose at the Registration desk in Pittsburgh beginning Sunday, March 15.  

Anyone wishing to do so may complete one of the forms below and present it at the Registration Desk beginning Sunday, April 13.

2026 Conference Rates

Full Conference Rates include: the Ice Breaker, Opening Session (keynote address and awards ceremony), oral and poster presentations, exhibits, conference program, exhibitors' Outdoor Demonstration event, the SAGEEP Wrap-up Reception, and the SAGEEP proceedings.

Student SAGEEP Conference Rates include: the same as Full Conference Rate, and complimentary tickets to the Student Networking event and luncheons (must be able to demonstrate that you are currently enrolled in an accredited science or engineering under-graduate or graduate program or have graduated in the past year).

Single Day Conference Rates include: Monday Only includes the same as Full Conference except for the the SAGEEP Wrap-up Reception.  Tuesday Only rate includes the same as Full Conference Rate except for the Ice Breaker, the Opening Session, the Student Networking event and Outdoor Demonstrations.  Wednesday Only includes the same as Tuesday Only and the SAGEEP Wrap up Reception in the Exhibit Hall.

Exhibitors - Exhibiting companies receive one (1) full conference registration and one (1) complimentary exhibit personnel registration for every 10x8 booth space.  Additional exhibit personnel badges may be purchased for $75.00.  All fees include 2026 proceedings, printed program and admission to food and beverage events in the exhibit hall.

Short Course Registrations include the full day course, two breaks and lunch.
