EEGS' Geology and Geophysics Photo Contest

This summer, geoscientists packed their rock hammers, notebooks, and cameras and submitted their photos to EEGS' Geology and Geophysics Photo Contest and the votes have been cast.  

2026 EEGS Geology & Geophysics Photo Contest Results

We are pleased to announce the winners and runners-up of this year’s photo contest. Results are listed separately for student and non-student entrants in each category. Congratulations to all the recognized entrants and thank you to everyone who submitted a photo or cast a vote!
Each category winner will receive a complimentary one-year EEGS membership and a waived SAGEEP 2027 registration. Each runner-up will receive a complimentary one-year EEGS membership, which includes discounted SAGEEP registration rates.
