Hot Topics
Poster Session
New this year to the SAGEEP program is The SAGEEP Café in
the Conference Center (offering an alternative for lunch) and the
Hot Topics poster session featuring posters on late breaking discoveries,
observations, and results too fresh to have been submitted to the
Technical Program and the Proceedings CD.
This informal lunch session is designed to provoke discussion and
encourage feedback. The Café and Hot Topics will be open
at lunch time Monday and Wednesday in the Conference Center. Sign
up for the SAGEEP Café lunch via the online registration
site (or mail or fax your registration form) and submit Hot Topics
poster titles and authors (that’s all that’s required)
to General Chair Vic Labson (vlabson@usgs.gov).
SAGEEP customary standards apply: inappropriate papers, those lacking
scientific merit, or those with excessive commercial advertisement
are subject to rejection. Quality control is the author’s responsibility.
Titles will be accepted until the space is full. While Hot Topics
are not part of the Technical Program and are not included in the
Proceedings, the authors and titles will be listed along with a
session summary in a future FastTIMES. Plan to join us for lunch
and share your newest work at hot topics@sageep.cafe.
