Propose a Session Title or Special Session
Members of the near-surface geophysics community who wish to propose and chair a session(s) must do so by sending an email to Mario Carnevale, Technical Chair, (firstname.lastname@example.org). Be sure to review the session topics and titles to date - the list below will be updated periodically and all sessions that have been accepted will be listed on the online abstract submission web site as well.
Each session must have two chairs. For proposed sessions that have only one chair, a slot will be left open for co-chair applications. The Technical Chair will consider proposed session titles or special session proposals on a rolling basis, so chairs will be notified of the status shortly after submission. Each session will be allowed one invited presentation which may be allocated additional program time. The minimum number of papers (15 min. plus 5 min. for Q & A) in a session is 4.
Accepted Special Sessions:
Advances and Challenges in Archaeological Geophysics
Geophysical Imaging of Standing Trees
Geophysical Data Management (GIS)
Live UXO Data Analysis
Munitions Detection Systems and Software
Electrical Geophysical Monitoring
Seismic Refraction: Full Waveform Inversion/Imaging
